PITUPONG CHAOWAKUL has studied architecture in Bangkok and Rotterdam. In 2003 he and five colleagues founded “Thisdesign” in Bangkok. They designed a wide range of projects including concerts, interiors and buildings. In 2009 Pitupong formed Supermachine Studio. In 2010 they were chosen to participate in iLight Marina Bay in Singapore to construct a lighting installation sponsored by Philips lighting, and for the past three years they have designed one of the biggest outdoor music events in Thailand.
ANCHORAGE LECTURE: The Alaska Experience Theater is located at 333 W. 4th Avenue, inside the Post Office Mall. All entrances to the mall will be open. Parking is available in the lot on 3rd Avenue. The Alaska Experience Theatre entrance is close to the mall’s C Street entrance.
