The Alaska Design Forum’s Executive Director, Holly McQuinn was invited to participate as a panelist for Latitude 2014: Arts and Culture Conference, hosted by the Alaska State Council on the Arts.
Holly participated in the fantastic PechaKucha session, and led the panel Making Place: Imbuing Communities with Art through Creative Placemaking, along with Michael Killoren, Director for Local Arts Agencies and Challenge America Fast-Track for the National Endowment for the Arts; Bruce Farnsworth of the Light Brigade; and Rico Worl of Trickster Skateboards.
The conference was attended by hundreds of Alaskan artists, arts organizations and administrators.
