The Alaska Design Forum presents a unique lecture and workshop experience led by the fabulous design duo Nervous System. This Boston-based generative design studio uses 3D printers and draws inspiration from mathematics and natural phenomena, to create jewelry, lighting and industrial designs.
Nervous System will present a one-hour lecture about their designs and process and will follow it with a two hour workshop experience during which they will demonstrate a step-by-step printing process, showcase printed designs, and demonstrate and discuss various software that can be used with 3D printers.
This lecture and workshop are free. All ages and levels of experience are welcome. Seating is limited (capacity is listed at the top of this page) and will be available on a first-come basis.
