For the past 25 years, the Alaska Design Forum has introduced internationally recognized architects, artists and designers to an Alaskan audience through an annual lecture series. With the Fly By Design program, we export the audience to see the work in real dimensions. We host travelers in locations around the world, connecting them to new places, people and ideas through architecture and design. Since our first FBD trip to Iceland in 2013, ADF groups have journeyed to Stockholm & Helsinki, Basel, Chile and Japan.
We are excited to announce that our 6th FBD will explore the cultural capitals of Eastern Australia, November 3-10 2019. Limited to 18 people, our FBD AUSTRALIA travel group will experience architectural icons, meet design practitioners and explore art, cuisine, landscape, music and fashion to better connect with the places and culture.
