As part of the North x North (NxN) Summit & Festival, ADF is presenting another evening of the popular PechaKucha. Gathering at Muse kiosk in the atrium at 5:30pm, presentations begin at 6pm.
PechaKucha Night is a lively, rapid-fire presentation format that celebrates a wide variety of local creative work. PechaKucha started in Japan, and the word means “chit-chat.” PechaKucha Night is held in over 1,000 cities around the world. Architects, artists, industrial designers, photographers and other creatives present and discuss 20 images, with each image shown for just 20 seconds. In contrast to a design lecture, PechaKucha is a way for the local community to come together around informal design discussions. Produced by Alaska Design Forum, with program support from the Anchorage Museum, and part of the official PechaKucha 20×20 global network. Free event, suggested donation, cash bar.
