Autumn 2019 Lecture Series

The Autumn portion (PART II) of ADF’s POLAR SHIFT lecture series has been announced.

SITU

We’re kicking off Part II with SITU, an architecture studio from New York. Composed of three divisions—design, research and fabrication—the firm embodies an uncommon flexibility. SITU will present their unconventional work on September 9, 10 & 11.

Biotope

A month later, architects Biotope will visit from Norway. Biotope specializes in designing small scale pieces of architecture dedicated to experiencing nature, and works with businesses and communities on developing and building destination concepts. Biotope will share their work on October 7-9.

MASS Design Group

The final lecture in Part II of POLAR SHIFT is Michael Murphy from MASS Design Group. MASS’ portfolio of work has expanded to over a dozen countries and spans the areas of healthcare, education, housing, urban development, and more recently, food systems, indigenous sovereignty, and the public monument. Michael Murphy will lecture on November 18-20.
