While the threat of contracting the COVID-19 virus in Alaska currently remains low, we take our responsibility to protect our community members very seriously. Therefore, we have decided to postpone next week’s lectures in Anchorage, Fairbanks, and Juneau with Nathan Shafer to a later date. We will continue to assess the threat of this pandemic and make informed decisions about other future lectures in the upcoming weeks.
The Alaska Design Forum was created in order to create and foster dialogue about the innovative and unique design solutions to our problems and environments. Sometimes, however, it’s the tried and true solutions that are in our best interest. We encourage you to listen to the experts at the CDC and WHO: be vigilant, practice social distancing, wash your hands, and stay at home if you feel ill.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to resuming our design conversations about REVISED UTOPIAS in the upcoming months when it is safe to do so.
Sincerely,
The ADF Board of Directors
