SITU responds to the tension of an ever-shifting landscape with a distinct business structure and design approach. Composed of three divisions—design, research and fabrication—the firm embodies an uncommon flexibility. With work across analog and digital workflows, SITU applies the designer’s toolkit to a spectrum of real-world conditions, and as a result produces a wide array of unconventional systems, platforms and places that blur the boundaries of the industry at-large. The discussion will explore how architecture contends with—and develops a renewed relevancy to—the shifting paradigms shaping the built environment.
