Join ADF as we continue to explore this year’s theme, Revised Utopias, virtually with Günther Vogt, a Liechtenstein landscape architect. He heads the office VOGT, and is a professor of landscape architecture at the ETH in Zurich. Vogt landscape architects’ work is characterized by an intensive examination of the environment. The design approach of the office aims to bring the planner away from the bird’s eye view of the floor plan and towards the three-dimensional, true perspective of the user.

Günther Vogt became internationally known through projects such as the exterior of the Tate Gallery of Modern Art , the open spaces around the Allianz Arena football stadium in Munich, the Masoala hall in Zurich Zoo, but also through smaller projects such as the courtyard of the Hotel Greulich in Zurich and the Laban Dance Center in London.

In 2012 Gunther was the first landscape architect to win the Prix Meret Oppenheim.
