Faythe Levine is an author, director, boutique owner and crafts artist who live & works in Milwaukee, WI. Her film Handmade Nation documents the rise of the new DIY craft movement, making a case to “think small” and re-imagine our roles as both consumers and producers.
Levine is currently working on a documentary about American sign painters – those who were and still are walking the streets and using their talent to get a message across, and whose work we see daily on windows, sandwich-boards, boats, cars, billboards, in businesses, playgrounds and farmers markets.
